Hardy XO is an agricultural rum with the AOC Martinique label. It is made from sugar cane grown on and around the Caravelle peninsula. The pure cane juice is now distilled at Saint James in Saint Marie.
Hardy rum is based on ancestral family know-how spanning 5 generations. Previously in charge at the Simon distillery and then at Clément rums, oenologist Gaëlle Hardy is behind this XO. Aged for at least 6 years in 200-liter ex-bourbon oak barrels, this very old rum has matured beautifully, offering great roundness and concentrated aromas.
