This arranged banana flambé comes straight from the island renowned worldwide for its arranged rums. It's a real dessert!
The best way to appreciate its full flavor is to put it in the freezer and serve it chilled, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for example.
Isautier Banane flambée won a gold medal at the 2014 Concours Général Agricole in Paris.
The bottle is also available in a 70-centilitre version.

Its color is golden.
On the nose, banana jumps out. Once past this main aroma, there's vanilla as well as a candy-like, slightly Malabar taste. When you come back to it, there's something very close to bananas cooked in butter.
On the palate, it's very sweet, even syrupy. The banana is obviously in the foreground, while the vanilla gently follows.
The finish is long, with this banana-vanilla combination.
