The Isle of Raasay distillery uses a unique aging process called the "Na Sia" method. This term means "the six" in Gaelic.
Na Sia is an iconic single malt whisky blended from six different casks. It combines peated and unpeated distillates aged separately in old Bordeaux red wine casks, American rye whisky and new virgin chinkapin oak casks.
Here we present a single cask from one of these six barrels. This is a single malt whisky peated and aged in a barrel that has contained Bordeaux red wine.
