Karukera L'Expression Brut De Fût Batch 2 is an amber-colored agricultural rum that demonstrates the cellar master's expertise in the art of maturing top-quality rums. Karukera, the Guadeloupe rum distillery, masters all the stages of maturation, reduction, brewing and ageing of rum. It is located on the Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte-Marie, in Capesterre-Belle-Eau.
Distilled in column in July 2020, this rum was first aged in new French oak barrels, then in ex-cognac barrels from March 2021. Bottling took place in September 2021, without reduction or cold filtration. A total of 4,000 numbered copies have been released.
