The “L’Insolite” vintage is an old agricultural rum from Karukera.
It was aged in oak barrels from the SEGUIN MOREAU cooperage.
The logs used to make these barrels come from rigorous selection and extensive analysis. The goal is to identify those which have a high level of molecules which provide sweet flavors during aging.
Grégoire Hayot has been studying the impact of aging on the sensory characteristics of rum for more than 20 years. With this vintage, he offers a rum different from previous editions.
This bottling is carried out without reduction. This is a limited and numbered edition.
