Knob Creek Rye is an American rye whiskey made in the state of Kentucky from a blend of rigorously selected and heavily charred barrels.
Composed of 95% rye , complemented by corn and malted barley, it expresses all the intensity and spicy character typical of Rye Whiskeys. After distillation, it is aged for 7 years in new, intensely charred American oak barrels, a maturation process that imparts a beautiful aromatic depth and a balance between sweet, spicy, and woody notes.
Bottled at 50% alcohol, without cold filtration or added coloring, it preserves all the richness of its natural aromas.
