Compagnie des Indes Guyana Port Mourant 9 ans is a rum produced in Guyana by Diamond Distillery. This distillery is the last still in operation in British Guyana. It boasts some of the oldest stills in the world, including the one used for this cuvée.
This rum was distilled in September 2013 in the legendary double wooden pot still: Port Mourant. It was aged for 9 years in an oak barrel before being bottled brut de fût.
290 bottles were made from this single DRL13 barrel.
