This cuvée, created in 2023, is both a tribute and a reverence to Gabriel for his 40 years working at the La Favorite distillery.
With just a few months to go before his well-deserved retirement, he was given the opportunity to create this special cuvée.
With the help of the entire distillery team, Gabriel has selected barrels from some of the rarest vintages still in the cellars.
These include rums from the 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013 harvests.
Like a guardian angel, Gabriel Étienne, as production manager, watched over the rums for many years. It was obvious that a cuvée, "his share", would be dedicated to him...
