La Maison du Rhum Colombia batch #6 comes from Hacienda Coloma located in Fusagasugá, not far from Bogota.
This is an old molasses rum of Hispanic tradition. This 6th vintage, distilled in 2011, benefited from aging in ex-Bourbon barrels and then from refining in ex-coffee liqueur barrels.
This refining corresponds to the signature of Hacienda Coloma which produces a very famous coffee in Colombia.
This edition was produced in only 2829 copies.
