La Maison du Rhum is a brand created in 2017 by Dugas, a French distributor well known to wine merchants as it distributes more than half of Martinique's rum brands in France, and very popular rums such as Don Papa and Diplomatico.

Drawing on its experience and relationships with a large number of distilleries around the world, Dugas, through La Maison du Rhum, offers quality at affordable prices from all over the world: Guadeloupe, Martinique and Reunion, but also Guatemala, Saint Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela, Colombia...

In terms of presentation, the bottles are accompanied by a wooden case and coasters in the brand's colors, all in a retro colonial style.

The date of distillation and bottling, the nature of the casks used, the name of the distillery, the type of still: all this is scrupulously indicated on the label of each bottle, showing that the brand's designers have perfectly understood the demands of today's spirits lovers.

These rums always have a "plus": they are either vintages, or blends of vintages, aged in special casks, or distilled in pot stills...

What they have in common is that they are generally reduced to a higher degree than the traditional 40°, which helps to sustain the aromatic power without being as excessive as a "brut de fût" at 60° or even more.

Finally, they are all aged entirely on site, unlike many rums bottled in Europe by independent brands. Read less
