The composition of this box, its design and its explanatory booklet have been conceived by Rhum Attitude to enable you to explore the many facets of the world of rum.
Each of the 6 screen-printed glass bottles in this box contains 6cl of rum.
For a successful tasting experience, only a small amount of rum is needed. With just one bottle, you can serve 3 glasses. Glasses can also be shared, allowing more guests to sit around the table.
This boxed set presents a variety of rum styles: sweet Spanish-style"ron", aromatic English-style "rum" and, finally, French-style "rhum" marked by the freshness and richness of sugar cane.
If you wish to taste several rums at the same session, we recommend you follow the order presented in this box, from left to right. This order has been established according to criteria such as sweetness and intensity.
You can start with Compagnie des Indes Latino, a "ron" that offers buttery caramel in profusion, then continue with Ferroni Ambré, a highly masterful blend of traditional rums and pure cane juice rums, gourmet without being sweet.
You'll then continue with RL Seale's, a delicately woody 10-year-old "rum" from Barbados, and New Grove 8-year-old, a round Mauritian 8-year-old "rum" rich in aromas of quince jam and vanilla.
Finally, we suggest you finish with two agricultural "rums" from the French West Indies, with Montebello 6 ans d'âge (Guadeloupe) offering a gourmand register of ripe fruit, and JM VSOP presenting woody notes quite typical of Martinique's agricultural rums.

These tubes have been designed by WIT France, a company trusted by leading wine and spirits brands. They benefit from 5 patented innovations designed to ensure preservation equivalent to that offered by traditional bottles.
The capsules are made of aluminum.

So, to sum up: same shelf life as a bottle.
And, as you may know, rum in particular needs to be kept away from light - that's the only constraint (so in the rum box it'll be perfect...).

I haven't had a chance to taste them yet, but they look great!
I just wanted to know how long you could keep these rums without drinking them and without them losing their aromas: I'm clearly not an expert in bottles with screw-on metal corks, so I don't know if it makes any difference!
