In January 2024, the Tres Hombres sailing ship made a stopover in Martinique. It was there that, at La Favorite , an agricultural rum with a unique character was selected for exceptional aging.
A batch of 900 liters of white rum with an alcohol content of 55% was transferred into carefully selected Monbazillac casks at the Navarre cooperage. After a three-month sea voyage, the rum continued its maturation for nine months in the Saint-Étienne cellars of the Frères de la Côte .
A slight reduction was then carried out, bringing the alcohol content to 53.7% ABV , followed by aging in stainless steel tanks for perfect harmony. The wine was bottled in April 2025.
Each 70cl bottle comes with a 5cl miniature, ideal for appreciating the impact of this dynamic sea farming.
