This La Favorite rum bottled by Les Frères de la Côte is vintage no. 2 selected for the 2022 rotation.
Meticulously selected, this white rum from the 2021 vintage was tapped on February 3, 2022 at 55% alc. in 6 barrels that had contained Pineau des Charentes. The barrels came from the Navarre cooperage and were loaded onto the famous motorless sailing boat "Tres Hombres".
Crossing the Atlantic, the barrels were dynamically stirred for 4 months. This was followed by 9 months of rest in the Saint-Étienne cellar.
This selection was bottled in April 2023 in a limited series of 1,600 copies. As for the Navigation cuvée n°1 Emb. 2022 , you will also receive a 5 cl mignonette of 55° white rum collected in Martinique before barreling.
