The Longueteau distillery rightly likes to commemorate its history with commemorative vintages. The 125th anniversary vintage must now make way for two vintages created for the 130th anniversary.
The first creation is none other than a vintage of single-variety, single-plot agricultural white rum.
The rum is made from 100% red cane variety R579. This sugar cane comes entirely from plot number 6, which is located closest to the distillery.
For the occasion, the cellar master created a blend of distillates from two harvests:
- Harvest 2023: 2 years of rest and reduction in stainless steel vats,
- Harvest 2024: 1 year of rest and reduction in stainless steel vats.
Each bottle is numbered and 7680 bottles were produced.
