Marama Indonésia Spiced Rum is a spiced molasses rum produced in Indonesia, also known as Batavia Arrack. It is made with indigenous ingredients that give it unique local flavors.
In fact, this rum is made from sugarcane molasses grown on deep volcanic soils. The archipelago's tropical climate is characterized by heavy monsoon rains. These heavy rains penetrate deep into the soil, creating ideal conditions for the production of a high-quality raw material. Molasses is fermented with locally-produced red rice grains.
During the manufacturing process, spices and exotic fruits native to the island are added, giving it spicy, lemony and vanilla notes.
