This 19-year-old rum from Guyana is bottled by the Mezan brand.
From a batch of 3 casks, this is n°001/003. It is a blend of molasses rums distilled in 2004 by Diamond Distillers Limited.
For distillation, Diamond used very old stills, including wooden ones such as Enmore and Versailles.
Tropical aging for 3 years was carried out before the barrel was transferred to Europe. The rum spent a further 16 years in American ex-bourbon oak barrels before bottling in 2023.
This rum has not been cold-filtered, nor has any additives been added. This cask produced 300 numbered copies.
