The second of the three Mhoba cuvées in the New Vibrations catalog is called Umganu.
From the 2019 distillation campaign, this version is aged for 3 years in a single French oak barrel. The special feature comes from the barrel used to age a South African brandy.
In Siswati (the language of Swaziland), umganu is the fruit of the marula, a tree similar to the plum we know. The edible fruit is also used to make brandy.
Barrel #AMA-1 produced 419 numbered bottles.
