This product is currently on special offer in the2-bottle white agricultural rum special!
Rhum par Neisson is a 52.5% white agricultural rum. Characterized by its crystal-clear color, the rum is made from sugar cane planted on the edge of the estate to take full advantage of the sun and sea breezes. The cane is cut green, without prior burning, to bring out the full potential of the terroir.
Following a long maturation process, the white rum is brewed and aerated on a daily basis. Degrees are also reduced very slowly to preserve aromas.
Rhum par Neisson 52.5% is the fruit of a long refining process, during which the crus are regularly blended and aerated. Careful attention is also paid to the slow, precise process of reducing the degree of alcohol.
Laurent's tasting notes
Its color is translucent.
On the nose, this is not a rum dominated by one aroma: it's complex. It's even rather complicated to identify the different notes, so intertwined are they. Sugar cane is there, of course - how can you escape it? Citrus is there too: lemon and lime. A vegetal scent also catches the nostrils, while a fruity (exotic fruit) and peppery touch completes the ensemble.
On the palate, the attack is lively and the alcohol makes itself felt, without burning. Great freshness pervades the palate, and almost all the aromas from the nose make their way through (which is quite remarkable), with cane dominating, but also citrus fruits, more subdued than on the nose, as well as a peppery, vegetal touch. It offers a fine presence.
The finish is long. Sugar cane juice and citrus fruit are in the foreground. The vegetal note, which brings a very slight bitterness, also accompanies us, as do the exotic fruits that return discreetly.
"It's easy to see why it's considered by some to be the finest white rhum agricole."
