Nikka Coffey Gin is a distilled gin produced in the traditional Coffey column stills of the Miyagikyo distillery. These stills are usually used to produce grain whiskies.
Made from two distillates, one from corn and the other from malted barley, this gin is also composed of juniper berries, a large number of Japanese citrus fruits such as yuzu, kabosu, amanatsu and shikuwasa, and sansho pepper.
On its own or with a tonic, the aromatic power of this gin is particularly well-suited to starters and desserts.
