Novo Fogo Silver is a cachaça, the Brazilian name for a pure sugarcane rum that meets precise specifications.
The distillery is located in Pico do Marumbi, in the heart of the rainforest at the foot of the Serra do Mar mountain range. The entire range is certified organic, without herbicides or pesticides.
The sugar canes are harvested by hand, using a machete. They are pressed within hours, and the vesou is distilled in a copper still. The cachaça then rests for a year in a steel vat before being bottled.
