Opportune Chabine Dorée F.W.I Barbados 63°: Description and customer reviews

Opportune 1791 FWI Barbados Blend is an audacious marriage between a pure cane juice rum and two molasses rums.

The brand is based on a true story, with anecdotes to be discovered on each bottle. It is inspired by the life of Opportune Besub, a woman born into slavery in 1791 in the commune of Le Lorrain in northern Martinique.

This blend is composed of a column-distilled white rum made from pure cane juice from the French West Indies and a still and column-distilled molasses rum from Barbados, aged a minimum of 3 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels.

FWI stands for French West Indies.

The new packaging for this blend bears the name "Chabine Dorée" on the label, but the product is unchanged. We have both versions in stock, so you can receive either one or the other.
