The Palenqueros collection created by Luca Gargano brings together 6 master distillers (Palenqueros) from the state of Oaxaca. This collection not only highlights authentic and artisanal agave distillates, but also places a strong emphasis on the men and women who produce these spirits.
This is a Pure Single Palenque joven. It is made from the maguey espadín variety. These agaves come from Bramaderos, in the Miahuatlán region of Porfirio Díaz. This mezcal is produced by Alberto and Onofre Ortiz, father and son and fourth and fifth generation palenqueros.
Bottling is done directly from the still, without reduction. This edition produced 1429 copies.
