Papa's Pilar Flagship Blonde is a blend of six rums from the Dominican Republic, Panama, Venezuela, and Florida. Aged using the solera method, it is used in bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks.
The Papa's Pilar brand is inspired by the adventurous spirit of Ernest “Papa” Hemingway and his boat, the Pilar.
To create this “Blonde Rum,” a style still unknown in the world of rum, the brand was inspired by Hemingway’s tastes: in the 1930s, in Key West and Cuba, Hemingway liked to consume light rums with refreshing notes.
