Matured using the traditional method dear to Maison Ferrand, Plantation Guyana 2011 Single Cask Peated Whisky Finish Big Peat embodies the meeting of two exceptional worlds: that of authentic Demerara rum and that of Scotch whisky with a robust temperament.
Distilled in 2011 in a pot still, this rum was first aged for two years in the tropical climate of Guyana. It then moved to the Maison Ferrand cellars for a further nine years of aging in ex-cognac casks. Finally, it was refined for a year in an ex-peated Big Peat whisky cask.
Bottled at 48.8%, it retains all of its natural richness and the purity of its origin. Each bottle of this single cask is numbered, and the cask number is also indicated.
