This vintage is the result of an exclusive selection by the Dutch distributor Right Spirit. It is cask #18 of a rum distilled in Barbados in 2014 in pot still and column.
This rum comes from the West Indies Rum Distillery owned by Alexandre Gabriel. After aging for 6 years in the tropics in bourbon barrels, it continued its maturation in France for 2 years in Ferrand cognac barrels.
A 12-month maturation in a barrel of AOC Rivesaltes natural sweet wine completes the passage in wood.
