Plantation Rum Trinidad 2011 is a rum produced by Trinidad Distillers Ltd. This distillery produces molasses rums with column stills, including some under the well-known Angostura brand.
This Plantation rum is part of the "single casks" series. It is part of the 2023 selection.
From the 2011 vintage, this rum is distilled from molasses fermented between 2 and 3 days.
An initial 10-year ageing period was carried out on the island of Trinidad in ex-bourbon oak casks. The rum then traveled to Southwest France, where it was transferred to Ferrand cognac casks for a further 12 months.
Aging was completed with a year in a single Burgundy wine barrel.
Each bottle is numbered and has a barrel number which may vary.
