The Dutch distributor Right Spirit is behind the selection presented here. This is barrel #5 of this Plantation Trinidad 2016 rum.
It is a molasses rum distilled in 2016 by Trinidad Distillers Ltd.
Initially, the aging took place in its country of origin in bourbon barrels for 5 years. The rum then passes into cognac barrels in the cellars of Maison Ferrand, in France, before benefiting from an additional 12 months of maturation in an old Mezcal barrel.
