Tasting notes from Thomas
The nose reflects the style of Plymouth gin. Indeed, with less juniper, it offers an obvious roundness. In this cottony atmosphere, juniper berries bring their vegetal tonality, but it's the sweet oranges that gradually take over. White pepper and cardamom follow, followed by a few notes of white flowers. The whole is sufficiently supple to be immediately seductive.
On the palate, the texture is soft and comfortable. Once again, juniper berries start the show, followed by cardamom and black pepper to liven things up. Citrus fruits (sweet oranges, lemon zest) complete a picture sketched in a simple yet harmonious way.
The finish is held together by spices, while oranges and softened white flowers offer a surprisingly sweet finish. The aftertaste is more vegetal, allowing juniper to combine with citrus.
" Respecting the codes of Plymouth Gin, this Original Strength will seduce you with its sweet patina..."
