Bathtub Cut Gin is an Australian gin from the Prohibition Liquor Co brand.
Its name comes from the prohibition period when gin was produced clandestinely. Bathtubs were used for the maceration of gin with botanicals after distillation of the alcohol.
In homage to this process, this expression benefits from a second maceration with juniper berries, after distillation, without the gin being first reduced.
The result is an overproof gin at 69° with increased aromatic power.
