Paying homage to Caribbean rum traditions, this blend combines rums from Colombia, Cuba, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic .
Made from molasses and sugar cane honey , then distilled in column and pot still , this rum benefits from aging for up to 24 years in Solera in different types of casks: bourbon, French oak and ex-rye whiskey .
The result is a rich and sophisticated profile, blending indulgence, woody elegance and aromatic complexity.
Jérémie's tasting notes
On the nose: a rich bouquet dominated by caramel and vanilla, accompanied by notes of candied orange, cocoa, and subtle white flowers. Aromas of ripe apricot, quince paste, and a touch of anise elegantly complete the whole.
On the palate: the attack is round and syrupy, carried by flavors of candied fruit and caramelized brown sugar, generously coated in vanilla honey. The evolution reveals a delicately toasted oakiness, supported by notes of cocoa and candied orange. The finish is enhanced by a touch of pepper, clove, and nutmeg, bringing a beautiful spicy complexity.
The finish: long and warm, it opens with notes of well-cooked caramel and roasting, before ending with a delicate touch of citrus.
