Red Bonny dark rum is a traditional molasses rum, distilled on the Port Mourant still. This still in Guyana' s Demerara region produces rums of character long prized by the British Navy. This is a dark rum aged for 3 years in bourbon casks.
Red Bonny was an 18th-century pirate, a woman with a fiery temperament to whom we've paid tribute with this rum.
As a dark rum, it lends itself particularly well to tiki cocktails.
