Distilled in 1998 at the Long Pond distillery, this is a light rum, as its mark is ITP. This means that the ester content is between 60 and 120 g/hlap. It has exactly 83.6 g/hlap.
This rum was casked on April 20, 1998 and aged for 10 years in American oak barrels in a tropical climate. It was then matured in Scotland.
During the last 9 months of its maturation, it was finished in a sherry cask that had contained the 2004 Port Charlotte from the Antipodes collection.
Bottling took place on July 10, 2023. 310 bottles were produced.
The color is natural, as no additives have been added, and the rum has not been filtered.
