Rum Barcelo Imperial Porto Cask is a rum from the Dominican Republic that completes the "rare blends" series. Barcelo is renowned for mastering its terroir and sugarcane cultivation to perfection.
This distillery's rums are all made from pure sugarcane juice.
This cuvée is blended from former Barcelo Impérial reserves aged for 8-10 years in ex-Bourbon casks. Once blended, the rum is aged for a further year in Tawny Port casks to give it a generous finish.
