Barcelo

Barcelo & Co is a distillery located in the Dominican Republic. Founded in 1930 by Dom Julian Barcelo in Santo Domingo, the brand quickly gained a local reputation, becoming the country's biggest rum seller in the 1980s. During this decade, Barcelo Imperial was awarded the distinction of best rum in the world by the Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago.

In 1992, Barcelo & Co set out to conquer the international market. The brand is now sold in over 50 countries.

Barcelo produces rums made from cane juice fermented and distilled in four state-of-the-art column stills. Aging takes place in oak barrels. Tradition meets innovative technology to create exceptional rums. Read less
