Édition Blanc Paris is the result of a collaboration between Atsushi Nakayama, Shinichi Sato and the Réunion distillery Savanna.
The two names above may be unfamiliar to you. The first is that of the founder of the famous Bar Lamp in Tokyo. The second is none other than that of the starred chef of Restaurant Blanc in Paris.
During a visit to the Savanna distillery in January 2023, they selected a rare cask together. Indeed, barrel no. 215 contained a “HERR” rum distilled in 2009.
After maturing for almost 6 years in stainless steel vats, the rum was put into French oak ex-cognac barrels on January 2, 2015.
This vintage of enthusiasts is produced in 385 copies.
We had too few bottles to be able to put them on sale. Also, as is often the case in this case, we preferred to make samples so that as many Savanna HERR fans as possible could benefit from them.
