SBS Guyana 1998 ICBU is a molasses rum selected by Danish independent bottler 1423 World Class Spirits for its SBS (Single Barrel Selection) collection.
The rum was distilled in 1998 in a Savalle column still by the Uitvlugt distillery, located along the Demerara River in English Guiana. It is a "light" rum bearing the ICBU mark. It is then aged for 24 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels before bottling in May 2022.
154 bottles were released from this unique cask. Bottling was carried out without the addition of water or cold filtration.
