Behind the name “Secret Speyside” hides a legendary distillery founded in 1824 near the village of Craigellachie. This house officially marketed its first 18-year-old whisky in 1984.
This expression was aged in a single first-fill sherry cask. Distillation took place on July 11, 2005, for bottling on June 26, 2024, almost 19 years later.
Cask No. DRU17/A106#45 produced 575 bottles. This bottling is called “Cask Strength”, which means that it has not been reduced.
