This is batch #2 of the famous vintage #1 that made Spirit of the day a success when it launched in June 2024.
This rum from Trinidad Distillers Ltd. was aged for a total of 17 years in an ex-bourbon barrel, including 11 years in the tropics. It was bottled at cask strength.
We quote Romain verbatim, who selected the cask and bottled it: “on the program of empyreumatic, leather and dirty, it is totally extreme and it is magnificent”.
