“Rum Never Sets” is a book written by Matt Pietrek and Alexandre Gabriel.
Matt is a rum enthusiast who has produced numerous works, including the famous Modern Caribbean Rum. Alexandre runs Maison Ferrand (cognac) and WIRD (West Indies Rum Distillery) in Barbados. He is also the Master Blender of Planteray rums.
This book, full of previously unpublished illustrations, aims to immerse the reader in the rums of the British Empire and London docks, and in particular in Navy Rum, which has delighted Royal Navy sailors for centuries.
This latest edition notably provides the exact recipe for Royal Navy rum as it was produced in 1962.
