This traditional Spanish molasses rum was distilled in Panama in 2011. It is part of the "Single Cask Selection - Cask Finish" collection from Dutch bottler Ultimatum Rum.
For this cuvée, the rum was first aged for 6 years in an ex-bourbon cask, followed by a 4-year finish in a Highland peated whisky cask in Scotland. The cask used comes from a Ballechin cuvée, the peated expression of the Edradour distillery's single malts.
This rum was bottled in 286 copies numbered in 2021. There have been no additions or cold filtration.
