Vilanova is a French whisky produced at Villeneuve sur Vère in the Tarn department by the Castan distillery.
This is a small, family-run distillery that handles almost every stage of production. From growing the barley to bottling and distillation, everything is done on the estate.
Distilled in March 2018 and barreled in April of the same year, this single malt offers precisely measured peat. It comes from barrel no. 197 which previously contained a white wine made from the Pacherenc grape variety.
Bottling produced 420 bottles.
