William Hinton 6 ans Spanish Fortified Wine Cask is an agricultural rum from the magnificent island of Madeira. This sugar-cane-covered island was one of the first to produce rum. Long before the New World, in fact! This rum, made from pure sugarcane juice, is distilled in columns. It was then aged in French oak barrels for 6 years.
After this initial maturation, it was placed in a Spanish fortified wine (sherry) cask. It was also enhanced with a little very old 25-year-old rum. This is a single cask limited edition of 340 bottles.
