BreiZ'île les arrangés du rhum
As you may have guessed, the founders of BreiZ'île are Breton, and make their arranged rums in Brittany (more precisely in Finistère, in Plougastel-Daoulas just outside Brest).
It all began in Guadeloupe, with a fish restaurant opened and run by 3 friends (Ronan, Olivier and Alain). The cooking was done with rum and spices. Their home-arranged rums were a hit with customers, who wanted to buy some!
In 2002, they decided to market their creations. They soon met with great success.
The Guadeloupe rum used is white (55°) or aged (3 years, aged in oak barrels). The fruit is fresh and the syrup homemade.
