Breiz'île Collection Vanille Au Rhum Vieux is made with aged agricultural rum from Guadeloupe, bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, cane sugar syrup and caramel.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose first charms us with a completely candied agricultural rum. The cane is surrounded by fragrant aromatics, with a hint of vanilla here and there. This rum has an extremely gourmand, pastry-like character, with a beautiful aromatic concentration that escapes to the side of candied fruits and vegetables.
On the palate, the fruit is deliciously smooth and round. The fruit is generously coated with vanilla syrup, and the texture is extremely smooth. In the long finish, we find the typical fruity and pastry notes of Guadeloupe's old rums.
