Evan Williams

Evan Williams is a Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottling company based in Bardstown, Kentucky. Its bourbons are also distilled in Kentucky, at Heaven Hill in Louisville.
This range was created in tribute to Evan Williams, a Welsh immigrant to North America in 1783. Settling on the banks of the Ohio River, he was one of Kentucky's first bourbon distillers.

Most of these bourbons are 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% barley. The Black Label, aged between 5 and 7 years, is the most famous. The slightly more exclusive version is called 1783. There are also a number of vintage Single Barrels, which have won numerous awards at international trade shows. Read less
