L'encantada
L'encantada is a very young brand (2012). Initially, four friends(Frédéric Chappe, Xavier Bru, Vincent Cornu and Christelle Cornu) got together around armagnac.
Their aim is simple: to find forgotten armagnacs (production stopped), and put them on a pedestal.
In fact, this hunt for rarities is an opportunity to rediscover little-known areas and share a moment of history.
L'encantada carefully selects its armagnacs and offers two types of range.
Firstly, blends such as 20 ans and 25 ans. In addition, there's the Encantada Extra White, a blend of three Armagnacs aged for several months in casks. Then there are vintage versions that can be distilled from the 70s to the 2000s.
In the same way, a few estates have already been highlighted: Domaine le Sablé, Domaine les Bidets, Domaine Parre, Domaine del Cassou and Domaine Lous Pibous.
Finally, most Encantada armagnacs are bottled "brut de barrique" and are single varietal. Read less
