Longrow
Longrow is the name of a distillery which produced whisky between 1824 and 1896, the year of its final closure.
Built by John Ross, its memory was revived by the Springbank distillery which decided to offer a very peaty expression in 1973, reminiscent of the Campbeltown style of the 19th century.
Nowadays, it is one of the three malty variations of Springbank, positioning itself, while maintaining its style, on the terrain of peated whiskies as one usually sees on Islay. Read less
