Six Saints Rum is a molasses rum from the island of Grenada. It is produced in the Woodlands Valley by Grenada Distillers Limited. This distillery, founded in 1937, is also behind the Clarke's Court brand, which is very well known locally.

Fermentation is carried out using an in-house yeast strain. Distillation is then carried out in a John Dore double column, resulting in a 95% alcohol eau-de-vie. Aging typically lasts 3 to 5 years in bourbon barrels in a tropical climate. Six Saints is then finished in Pedro Ximenez, Oloroso or Madeira casks. Bottling takes place in Scotland.

The famous Six Saints evoked by the brand are the six parishes on the island of Grenada: Saint Patrick, Saint Mark, Saint John, Saint George, Saint David and Saint Andrew. Read less
