The Thompson Brothers are Phil and Simon. They run a whisky bar in the family hotel in Dornoch, Scotland. This must-see castle is a kind of base camp for whisky lovers visiting the region's distilleries.

The old whisky-loving brothers committed their first independent bottlings in 2013. Then they took their dream a step further and built their own distillery in 2016. The distillery is still located in Dornoch in the Highlands. It was built on the remains of a 19th-century fire station.

The Thompson Brothers wear two hats: as independent bottlers of whisky and rum, and as producers of whisky and gin.

As part of their IB activity, we particularly note the collaboration with The Auld Alliance for this very old Jamaican rum from Clarendon. Read less
