In brief: orange - coconut - vanilla - sweet spices - woody - powerful
The nose is powerful and expressive, with orange projected far from the glass. Wood and vanilla team up with nuts to send out a steady stream of aromas. This alchemy produces gourmet notes of vanilla, coconut and sweet spices. The woodiness is balanced and concentrated.
On the palate, it's just as powerful. Nuts, wood and spices make for a striking entry. Here and there, there are rounder, sweeter flavors, such as coconut, vanilla, caramel and a hint of bitter orange zest. Yet this remains a rum with a nourished, sustained, ardent fire.
The finish is slightly smoky, followed by notes of vanilla, sweet spices and wood.
